The independent variables include the socio – demographic characteristics of the respondents such as age, class studying, father educational qualification, mother educational qualification, family income and type of family.

STATISTICAL ANALYSIS

The data collected were carefully analysed and processed.  Statistical tests such as chi-square test, ‘t’ test and correlation were applied to interpret the data to draw meaningful inferences.
